GenLucid is run by one independent operator, not a company. This page explains what data is collected when you visit the site and why. It is short because the site does not collect much.

This policy covers the GenLucid website. It is operated by an individual, not a registered company. For data protection purposes, that individual is the controller of the data described below. See our contact page to reach us.
Analytics and site usage data
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: page views, clicks, scroll depth, outbound link clicks, and page load performance. Session replay is turned off, so your on-page interactions are never recorded as a video or timeline. We do not attach your name, email, or any account to this data, since the site has no accounts and collects no email addresses. PostHog is processed by PostHog (United States) as our sub-processor.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set any cookies ourselves. The analytics tool described above may store an identifier in your browser (via a cookie or local storage, depending on the tool's own defaults) to recognize repeat visits; it does not identify you personally unless you separately tell us who you are, for example by emailing us.
What we don't collect
There is no newsletter signup, no contact form, no account system, and no backend on this site today. Nothing you type anywhere on GenLucid is sent to a server we control, other than the anonymous usage events described above. There are no affiliate links, ads, or sponsorships on this site.
Who processes data on our behalf
The site is hosted on Vercel (United States). Analytics runs through PostHog (United States). Neither may use your data for their own purposes beyond providing that service to us.
Your rights
Since we don't collect anything that identifies you unless you email us, there is generally nothing to look up or delete on your behalf beyond that email itself. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the additional rights GDPR gives you over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise any of these.
Children
GenLucid is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, for example if a form or account system is added later, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
